When six-year-old Zoe Erianna walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage, she immediately showed the judges that she wasn’t intimidated by the enormous room or the cameras.

In fact, she seemed remarkably confident.

Simon Cowell asked her questions before the performance, including whether she thought she could win America’s Got Talent.

Zoe’s answer was simple and completely confident.

Yes.

Then she revealed the song she had chosen.

“Born This Way” by Lady Gaga.

What followed was a cheerful performance filled with personality, hand movements and hair flips that had the audience cheering and the judges smiling throughout.

Zoe Erianna was six years old when she auditioned for America’s Got Talent Season Eighteen in 2023.

She came from Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, and had already been singing from a very young age. According to local reporting, Zoe began singing at age two and had also created music videos during the pandemic.

But stepping onto the AGT stage was a completely different experience.

She was standing in front of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.

For many young performers, that could be overwhelming.

Zoe seemed ready for it.

Before she sang, Simon asked whether she watched the show at home.

She confidently said yes.

He then asked which judge was her favorite.

Zoe had an answer that immediately made Sofia Vergara smile.

She said she liked all the judges – but Sofia was her favorite.

Once the introductions were finished, Zoe began performing “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga.

The choice was surprising.

Lady Gaga is known for powerful vocals, distinctive personality and dramatic performances.

Zoe was only six.

But instead of looking overwhelmed by the song or the huge AGT stage, she appeared to be having fun.

She added expressive hand movements to the performance and even flipped her hair several times.

The little details made the audition feel less like a nervous child’s first television performance and more like a young entertainer enjoying her moment.

The audience responded with loud cheers and applause.

Zoe’s personality became just as important as her singing.

The judges watched as the six-year-old confidently moved around the stage and performed the Lady Gaga song in her own adorable style.

The audience eventually gave her a standing ovation.

The judges followed with overwhelmingly positive reactions.

Rather than focusing only on vocal technique, they clearly enjoyed the confidence and personality Zoe brought to the performance.

Sofia Vergara was particularly delighted after Zoe had already chosen her as her favorite judge.

The entire audition had a lighthearted quality that made it difficult not to smile along with the judges and audience.

When it was time for the judges to decide Zoe’s fate, the result was unanimous.

All four judges voted yes.

That sent Zoe through to the next stage of America’s Got Talent.

For a six-year-old, it was a remarkable moment.

She had walked onto one of the biggest talent-show stages in the world, performed a Lady Gaga song and earned approval from all four judges.

But her confidence didn’t stop with the performance.

Simon also asked Zoe what she would do with the prize money if she won the competition.

Her answer was exactly as colorful as her personality.

She said she would buy a big golden convertible and a pink Barbie Dream Camper.

The appeal of Zoe’s audition wasn’t simply that she was young.

It was the combination of age, confidence and personality.

At six years old, she already appeared comfortable performing in front of a large audience

She didn’t simply stand still and sing.

She used gestures, facial expressions and playful movements to make the performance her own.

And perhaps most importantly, she seemed to genuinely enjoy being onstage.

That enthusiasm became contagious.

The judges smiled.

The audience cheered.

And Zoe continued performing as if she belonged there

Passing the audition did not guarantee Zoe a place in the live shows.

Although she received four yes votes, her Season Eighteen journey ultimately ended during the judges’ deliberations. She did not advance to the live rounds.

That distinction is important.

Zoe did not receive a Golden Buzzer, and she did not reach the live shows.

Her memorable achievement was making it through the audition with unanimous support from the judging panel.

For viewers, however, her audition remained one of the season’s most charming young-singer moments.
